Case Studies
Here are some examples of projects I have delivered both as an internal and external consultant:
- Built a training curriculum from scratch, covering all levels and functions of the company, and including a knowledge and skills framework for management development.
- Designed and implemented comprehensive objective setting, performance review and development system, linking achievement, skills and behaviours to reward and recognition - with full involvement and input from the employees who would be covered by the system.
- In another organisation, designed and ran workshops which successfully increased the level of skills and confidence of a management team tasked with introducing a new performance review system against a background of change and low levels of motivation.
- Developed and delivered a programme that successfully brought company values to life in an organisation where they had previously been just words on a piece of paper.
- Designed and delivered a train-the-trainer programme for the workshop based roll-out of a new European-wide ethics policy; participants came from nine different countries in Europe; personally delivered the workshop in the UK.
- Managed multi-consultant project team to develop, deliver and evaluate a leading edge computer simulation based learning programme for a worldwide research function. Delivery alternated between the US and the UK.
- Personally delivered a wide range of leadership and management development programmes, workshops on personal and business effectiveness topics, and team events.
- Designed and conducted 360 degree feedback interview process for the members of a particular department, and produced report and recommendations at both an individual and departmental level.
And, in support of delivery by others:
- Researched and wrote customised case study materials for leadership development programmes.
- Produced recommendations and plan for the comprehensive evaluation of a major global leadership development programme.
- Provided design outlines for a variety of training and development programmes.
- Created a range of training and development options mapped across to competencies, to support a corporate management development programme.
- Provided coaching and guidance to a Director preparing for the roll out of multiple performance development initiatives.
