The services I provide fall into three distinct, but overlapping areas: consulting, training and facilitation.

Learning and Development Consulting

This is my primary focus - working alongside you, as the manager, human resources or training and development professional, to help you implement the learning and development processes and activities you need within your organisation - particularly in times of change.

There are several ways in which I can get involved, depending on what you need, and feel is appropriate at the time. These range from acting as a coach, adviser or sounding board in the background, through designing or implementing parts of projects where you need extra expertise or resource, to completely managing whole programmes.

Areas I could help you with include:

  • Defining learning and development strategy linked to business strategy
  • Developing competencies and linking them to other processes
  • Designing and implementing performance management and feedback systems
  • Designing and implementing induction processes
  • Identifying training and development needs and generating solutions
  • Formulating a training/management development curriculum
  • Writing or editing training materials, policies, documentation and communications
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training
  • Enabling culture change and embedding company values
  • Introducing leadership development initiatives
  • Implementing corporate initiatives in different parts of the business
  • Introducing and providing training on new policies

Whatever degree of involvement you want, I work in close partnership with you, to fully understand the context and ensure that the right things are delivered for your organisation, and in the appropriate way. I am happy to liaise or co-deliver with other consultants whom you may have delivering parts of the programmes, to ensure that the overall offering is ‘joined up’ for your organisation.

I can also help if you are currently getting training and development off the ground from scratch. I take a very pragmatic approach, including lots of ideas you could implement quickly, and suggestions of additional resources to keep things going.

The two other areas of my business support the consulting work, and I also offer them as 'standalone' services.


Training Activities

I design and deliver training to enable personal development, through one-to-one coaching, group workshops or a blend of different learning methods. All training is fully tailored to the specific needs of your organisation and the individuals concerned.

I help to make meetings and events of all kinds more effective, by designing and facilitating meeting processes. I use a range of different tools and approaches, adapted to the people involved and the outcomes that you need.
