Action learning is a well-established and extremely powerful method for ongoing learning and development. It involves individuals working on real life issues for which they are personally accountable, and gaining support and challenge from a peer group in various ways. This provides growth opportunities for the individuals, and also contributes to the mutual learning of the group.
It works effectively both as a standalone process, and as an adjunct to a leadership, management or professional/technical training programme.
